I was tempted to make the inside of this piece white but glad that I decided to use this turquoise glaze instead. Although the blue cross dominates the surface the more subtle yellow marks are equally important and help to create depth and richness to the surface.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides . Fired to 1140C
