Having made the cylindrical form I then cut out a square section from the rim and replaced it with a piece with a texture of impressed marks. I wanted to highlight this piece with green glossy glaze but have deliberately offset the green glazed shape with the inset piece. This pot has an airy landscape feel to it, partly inspired by my walks through the dunes here in Cornwall.
Slab built with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides . Fired to 1140C
