This round formed vessel is definitely influenced by the coast near me where dark, hard edged, ancient rocks exist alongside the sea and vast open skies. The dark textured area in this one is achieved using a gritty black clay body that I have made into a slip.
Slab built with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
