I think circles in my work loosely represent the moon or sun. I like how the shape has moved position from one side to the other on this pot; like how the moon or sun moves across the sky over time. The wavy lines under the glossy turquoise glaze have been achieved using a monoprint technique.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
