Some of the surface lines were created using a monprint technique but other lines have been scratched into the soft clay. I always enjoy playing around with balance of composition and liked the way the pink shape was pushed out to the edge (or even off the edge) of this form. The other important detail of colour is the green area which helps to emphasise the bottom edge but also enhances the yellow.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
