I am always exploring how surface mark making and form can be combined. This piece really explores that idea with the blue shape that protrudes above the top edge of the form. This piece relates to shapes of fields that I see in the landscape here in Cornwall. Although its predominantly blue there is a important drawn yellow line that creates an vital bit of contrasting colour.
