The collection of circles (or are they zeros?) have been applied with simple stencils cut out of paper, others have been incised into the surface. There is a band of white glossy glaze around the bottom edge. This glaze is over some texture that has been applied by rolling course grog into the soft clay before the pot was constructed.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
