There is something in this piece that reminds me of fresh air and space. The circles and dashes look like they could be blowing across the surface on a breeze. They deliberately overlap the green corner which helps to create a visual link between those shapes. The green corner has a glossy green glaze over a crazed white engobe, this combination creates a really rich surface.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
