This piece plays with the form and shape of a cup but is not intended to be used as a cup. Repeated circles often appear in my work but I like them to be unevenly spaced and although they are similar to each other they are also different from each other in colour or texture. There is some additional texture around the bottom edge of this piece that has been created by rolling some grog in to the soft clay which was done before the piece was constructed.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
