Yellow like this was not a colour I would have used before moving to Cornwall but there is something about the light or crops that grow in the fields that make it appropriate to use this colour. Although the yellow colour dominates, the addition of a bit of pink around the circles and green around the bottom edge create additional contrast.
One edge has a clear shiny glaze that contrasts with the mostly matt surface.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
