This piece was made 2 years ago. I rarely make pieces that are wider than they are tall and this piece was made to challenge that convention. It was loosely based on my observations during walks to and around Godrevy Point. It's a landscape that is very open and there is an enhanced awareness of miles of sky and sea.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
