This is another piece that is made by wrapping soft clay around wooden blocks. When making it I added a separate piece of clay to make one side; this piece was deliberately a little taller than the slab used for the rest of the piece and created a small step in the top edge. The side piece was joined when it was still soft and retains some of the finger marks that were left as I pressed the pieces together.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140C
