North Cliff Crows
Ceramic Piece 17cm x 19.5cm. Frame dimensions 26cm x 29cm x 3.5cm
Crows (and occasionally choughs) are plentiful along the North Cliffs section of the Cornwall Coast Path. They look so at home there in all weathers, sometimes as a flock in a field and also negotiating strong winds as they dive down to their roost on the cliff. They feel so much a part of the landscape that I had to include them in this piece.
Slab built wall piece in a white wooden frame. There is a small gap between the ceramic piece and the backboard of the frame, this elevates the ceramic pieces and gives it the appearance of floating in the wooden frame. Fired to 1140C
