There is an intimate unindustrialized feel to the farming landscape in this part of Cornwall and ancient paths pass through it. This piece is not about a specific place but an amalgamation of glimpses I make of field shapes, paths, stiles, gates and hedges as I walk through this landscape.
Slab built wall piece in a white wooden frame. There is a small gap between the ceramic piece and the backboard of the frame, this elevates the ceramic pieces and gives it the appearance of floating in the wooden frame. Fired to 1140C
