Height 15cm Width 10.5cm Depth 7.5cm

This was made is response to a footpath walk I made on a warm summer day. I walked around different coloured fields, saw a spectrum of dashes of colour in the hedges and followed footsteps that had trodden that way for 100s of years. I came back to the studio and made this piece about that experience while it was still fresh in my mind. It has a predominantly matt surface but the turquoise edge is a glossy glaze that has been applied over white engobe with marks that have been drawn with my fingers.

Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
