When I look at this piece I am reminded of what I see when wondering around the rocks on the beach at Godrevy and watching how the water swirls around the rocks. There is a turquoise glossy glaze that fades to blue over the middle section of this piece. A few small stones have been fired into the bottom edge of the pot which give it another connection to the beach landscape.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
