This a quite a small piece with deep textural marks around the top edge that have been created with the ends of my fingers in the soft clay, this texture has a white glossy glaze over it which contrasts with the otherwise matt surface. Although most of the surface is white it has an air of pink that has been achieved with an initial layer of pink that was then covered with the white engobe. The little dot of red is a stronger colour point of focus that is made stronger by the little bit of contrasting green around it.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
