Some pink and white grog was embeded into the soft clay around the bottom edge of this piece. I always say that although I love colour I really love combinations of colour; and the bottom edge where pink and green meet and work together is the energy in this pot. The darker lines in the pink area were made using a monoprint technique and these were made richer with a small amount of blue added with an underglaze pencil.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
