This piece has an intentionally quieter feel to it. The white surface has subtle washes of grey and blue as a base colour that remain visible even after the thicker white has been applied on top. The red edge is a stronger colour and is enhanced further by a yellow ochre brush mark next to it. The other edge has a white glossy glaze that contrasts with the otherwise matt surface.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
