Height 15cm Width 10.5cm Depth 8cm

There’s a footpath near me that travels around the edge and between fields as it descends down through trees into the village of Angarrack. It feels like people have used this route for hundreds or even thousands of years and in places it’s worn deep into the landscape. Over the seasons it changes as flowers and trees grow and it has a peaceful and timeless feel. This piece reminded me of the feeling of that place without being over representational.

Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
