Adding these legs, (or are they feet or posts or inserts?) is not an easy process. It’s important to me that they are actually set into the main form rather than just stuck onto the surface. Because they are set into the main form they are also visible on the inside which emphasises their structural quality. Initially I painted them all green but thought they’d look a bit too uniformed so I interrupted that repetition with a red one. A small gesture that felt quite bold.
