I like exploring and considering how my pots stand on their bases, so the elevated pink section which has a gap under it has helped to create a sense of balance or tension. The bolder number shapes were partly impressed and partly stencilled; I was pleased with their imperfect edges which has softened the shapes. There is a glossy white glaze along the top edge of one side while on the other side the glazed area is down one side. I like this subtle change in composition from one side to the other.
Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
