Height 16cm Width 11.5cm Depth 8cm

The darker line in this piece is actually set back and slightly deeper than the rest of the surface. I can’t claim this is a specific view across the landscape but it is a combination of shapes and feelings of the landscape as I walk through it. I like the combination of pink and green and the little brush stroke of red over the pink gives it a bit of extra energy. Most of the surface is matt but there is a brush mark of white glossy glaze around the top edge that adds an additional tactile contrast.

Slab built vessel with incised lines, engobes, underglaze, glaze and oxides. Fired to 1140°C
